I started in the printing industry on January 1st 1973 as an apprentice Letterpress Machine Minder and now has over 48 years of experience in the print trade.
"The trade has changed and I've had to adapt over the years. Having been made redundant in late 1985 I decided to start my first company the following year, working out of an old school classroom in Hove, Sussex and I have been hands on ever since. I've met some nice people over the years - and some not so nice! But I've tried to stick to the same philosophy - give the customer what they want at a fair price.
10 years ago I sold my Print Shop in Southwick and decided to work from home. The trade that I trained in can now be done by pressing a few buttons on a computer keyboard.
So I've adapted and now let my Trade Only Suppliers (who can afford to invest the £1000's necessary to keep up with technology) supply my print."
REASON: They can supply top Quality Products at prices I couldn't match if I did it myself. Plus many other products I could not have supplied are now available to my customers.
RESULT: Much better deals and more variety.
So now I do the artwork and send it off and it all comes back on time and perfect.
THIS IS NOT A NEW IDEA - MOST PRINT or SIGN SHOPS USE THE SAME TRADE SUPPLIERS AND DON'T PRODUCE IT THEMSELVES - I JUST CHARGE LESS AND LET YOU KNOW.
We now also print Workwear - A great way to advertise your business - this is mostly done inhouse and by local trusted suppliers.
What better way to advertise your business than with printed or embroidered Shirts, Polos, Sweats, Hoodies, Jackets, Gilets, & Hi-Viz garment with your logo and contact details. As standard we use top quality Pro RTX garments but if you have a specific brand you like we can accommodate you. What better way to advertise your business than with printed or embroidered Shirts, Polos, Sweats, Hoodies, Jackets, Gilets, & Hi-Viz garments with your logo and contact details.
